Phil Norman of Gravity Cello is a freaking fantastic cellist and composer. I’ve known him forever and I’m so excited to be able to shoot with him. A full-time musician, he has been gigging around Denver and nationally for years now. He can play anything you put in front of him, but his original compositions are what you should stick around for. Escaping convention, his sound lives somewhere in the space between folk, jazz, and classical. It’s been so exciting to see what kind of trouble he has gotten into.
For our shoot, we hit up my favorite spots in RiNo. There are new murals popping up every day and it was exciting to discover new street art. I love shooting in front of saturated colors and graphic details. It also doesn’t hurt that my favorite neighborhood watering hole, Finn’s Manor, is right around the corner! This neighborhood might be changing at a frenzied pace, but I still love this place and I’m excited to see what it turns into.
